It is reported that Korea's steel giant Posco's Processing & Service Co and Hyundai Steel have made their different bids for their new purchase of high-grade ferrous scrap from Japan.
It's known that Posco's bid price for Shindachi scrap was at ￥40,200/ton CFR and that for P&S scrap was at￥ 39,700/ton CFR
For Hyundai steel, one of their bid prices was at ￥35,500/ton FOB for No2 HMS and the other at ￥38,500/ton FOB for Shindachi scrap.
It is said the two bids made by Hyundai were higher by ￥600~￥1,000/ton than the company's previous ones.
